Classes for ages three thru adult, including a Pre-Professional day intensive Monday thru Friday for serious students ages 9 & up.

The Pre-Professional Day Intensive will be held the weeks of June 23-27; July 7-11; July 14-18; July 21-25; and July 28-August 1. Choose one week, two weeks, or more to fit with your schedule!

Class Schedule

  • Monday, Wednesday, Friday – 8:30 am – 1:00 pm
  • Tuesday & Thursday – 8:30 am – 12:00 pm

The Community Class program will be held on a Tuesday or Thursday evening during the six-week time period listed above.

SUMMER PRE-PROFESSIONAL DAY INTENSIVE SCHEDULE

The Pre-Professional Day Intensive is designed for the serious student age 9 & up and includes Progressing Ballet Technique in addition to ballet, tap, jazz, and musical theater. Throughout the Summer Dance Program, guest master teachers are invited to instruct the Pre-Professional day intensive students.

The stellar lineup of luminaries in the dance world in 2025 will include Sarah Lane (American Ballet Theatre, Dance double for Natalie Portman in “Black Swan”), Arian Molina Soca (Philadelphia Ballet), Peter Merz (in demand as a master teacher), Alexander Dutko (Ballet CNJ), and Kate Kastelnik (Nashville Ballet).

And, don’t miss our unique opportunity to find out more about each of our special guest instructors during the “Meet the Artist” session on Thursdays when the guest is present. Check out their individual bios below for more info! A “Question and Answer” session JUST FOR YOU!!!

Classes will be held Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:30 am – 1:00 pm; Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30 am – 12:00 pm.

Students may choose to take one week, two weeks, or more. Classes are held in person at the Ballet Guild studios only.

Non-BGLV students wishing to enroll in the Pre-Professional program will be placed in the proper level during his/her first class day of the summer session. Students are placed by ability, not age, in these classes.

UPPER INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED LEVEL – GIRLS & BOYS, AGES 12 AND OLDER
Open to serious students. Girls should be on pointe. Includes Ballet Technique, Pointe & Variations, Introduction to Modern, and other dance forms, Dance History, and Projects focusing on well-known ballets. Also includes Progressing Ballet Technique, Tap, and Musical Theatre.

INTERMEDIATE LEVEL – GIRLS & BOYS, AGES 9-11
Open to serious students. Includes Ballet Technique, Introduction to Modern, and other dance forms, Dance History, and Projects focusing on the great ballets. Also includes Progressing Ballet Technique, Tap, and Musical Theatre.

SUMMER COMMUNITY CLASS SCHEDULE

Classes are offered for ages three through adult on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. The youngest students begin with an introduction to the basics of ballet; these include rhythm, dynamics, and terminology. Youth level classes are available for the student who wishes to learn ballet or improve his/her technique. Ballet for Boys classes are free and are offered for males ages 6 – 17 and introduce students to the structure and discipline of a ballet class while building music awareness and learning basic ballet terminology. Conditioning and gross motor movement skills are included. Adult/Teen classes are offered for the intermediate and advanced level dance students who have a basic knowledge of dance terminology.
