Spring Ballet 2017 Announced!

Ballet Guild of the Lehigh Valley/Pennsylvania Youth Ballet is pleased to announce its 2017 spring ballet production of “Pictures at an Exhibition” and “Carnaval” – two family-friendly ballets with live music! In partnership with the Allentown Art Museum of the Lehigh Valley and featuring paintings from its collection, the performances will be held on Friday, June 2 (10:00 am for school children & 7:00 pm for the public) at Baker Hall, Zoellner Arts Center. With original choreography by Artistic Director Karen Knerr and live music by Music Director Eugene Albulescu as piano soloist, the brilliant scores of Mussorgsky and Schumann, the Pennsylvania Youth Ballet dancers and a guest artist, along with artwork from the Allentown Art Museum will combine on stage to fill the senses with the beauty of art in all its magnificent forms!
