We are pleased to announce that AYNSLEY INGLIS will be joining our teaching staff in September. Private classes with Miss Inglis will also be offered during the season. New students always welcome! Join us for an exciting year! Here’s some information about our wonderful new instructor: Miss Inglis began her training at the School of First State Ballet in her hometown of Wilmington, Delaware. At age 14, she moved to Washington, D.C. to continue her training at the Kirov Academy of Ballet. She was coached in New York City by Valentina Koslova, former New York City Ballet and Bolshoi principal dancer. Miss Inglis’s professional career included dancing with The Universal Ballet Company in Seoul, Republic of Korea, the Tulsa Ballet Company, and Ballet del Centro de Conociemento in Argentina. She also performed as a guest artist with many companies throughout the United States. Her many dancing awards include First Place in Classical and in Contemporary in the Senior Division of the 2006 Youth American Grand Prix; a Bronze Medal in the 2013 Seoul International Dance Competition; and an Editor’s Choice Award from Pointe Magazine. Aynsley is the recipient of both the 2014 Wilmington Award for the Arts and an official Tribute from Governor Markell of Delaware for her contributions to Arts & Culture around the world.
