A TRIBUTE TO AMERICAN MUSIC – MAY 31, 2014

Ballet Guild is pleased to present its Pennsylvania Youth Ballet dancers and guest artists from BalletFleming in the 2014 Spring Ballet production on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at Baker Hall, Zoellner Arts Center, Lehigh University, under the artistic direction of Karen Kroninger Knerr.

The program will consist of two portions – the first one begins at 6:00 pm and is titled “An American Portrait.”  It will feature Ballet Guild students in pieces choreographed just for them by the Guild’s instructors: from the young ballet students to the Pre-Professional Division Jazz students and selected Youth America Grand Prix participants.

The second portion begins at 7:30 pm with two one-act ballets, “Our Town” and “Rodeo Suite” and will feature Pennsylvania Youth Ballet dancers along with guest artists from BalletFleming.
