Celebrating over 50 years

Three BGLV/PYB dancers nominated for Freddy© Awards!

Posted on 5.16.16 in Blog

Many talented students attend classes at Ballet Guild of the Lehigh Valley and/or perform in our productions each year. In addition to their schedule of classical ballet studies each week, these accomplished young people manage to find time to fit in school musical rehearsals and performances! Hearty congratulations to those who received nominations for a Freddy© Award this year:

Meghan Altemose – “Outstanding Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role” and “Outstanding Small Ensemble Performance” from Saucon Valley’s production of “Thoroughly Modern Millie”

Lizzy (Elizabeth) Burke – “Outstanding Performance by a Featured Dancer” from Moravian Academy’s production of “Big Fish”

Madelyn Dundon – “Outstanding Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role” and “Vic Kumma Award for Outstanding Solo Vocal Performance” from Bethlehem Catholic’s production of “Wonderful Town”

Best wishes to all those nominated, and our sincere compliments to all who participated in their school musicals – whether part of the stage crew or a major performer – every single person is important to the success of the entire production!
