The 2013 Nutcracker will feature a live orchestra!

Live Music, Beautiful Dance and Merriment Highlight Pennsylvania Youth Ballet’s 2013 Nutcracker

The Pennsylvania Youth Ballet/Ballet Guild of the Lehigh Valley proudly announces an exciting addition to their 45th annual production of The Nutcracker ballet. For the first time in many years, the production will feature live music provided by a 45-piece orchestra. The orchestra will be comprised of some of the best musicians in the Lehigh Valley and surrounding areas, including esteemed Lehigh University Music Department faculty members. Tchaikovsky’s full orchestral version of this ballet has seldom been performed live in the Lehigh Valley before. The performances are Saturday, December 14th at 1:00pm and 4:00pm, and Sunday, December 15th at 2:00pm, Zoellner Arts Center in Bethlehem, PA. Tickets are available by contacting Zoellner Arts Center at 610-758-2787. Additional performances for 4,000 school students will take place on December 11th, 12th, and 13th.
