Cinderella Audition – Saturday, January 24, 2015

Saturday, January 24, 2015 – Ballet Guild of the Lehigh Valley, 556 Main St., Bethlehem, PA 18018

Ages 5-8, 12-1 pm • Ages 9-12, 1-2:15 pm • Ages 13 & up, 2:30-3:45 pm

Audition Fee: $20

Dancers ages 5 & up from all schools and areas are invited to audition for our spring production of the ballet Cinderella. Dancers must be age 5 by January 24, 2015. The auditions will be in the form of a ballet class. All students must be accompanied to the audition by a parent or guardian. Applicants and a parent/guardian should arrive at least 30 minutes before the audition time in order to complete the paperwork.

• Provide a 4 x 6, snapshot-sized photo (may be a home copy), full length, (not head shot), in first arabesque position.
• All should be prepared to provide height and weight for each applicant (for costuming purposes).
• All should wear correct classical ballet attire and appearance. Females: hair in a bun-no bangs. Males: hair neatly combed.
• Females on pointe should bring pointe shoes, but not put them on until requested.

The Cinderella performance will take place at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Baker Hall, Zoellner Arts Center, Lehigh University. The dress rehearsal will take place at 4:30 pm on Friday, May 29, 2015. Applicants should be available for all rehearsals (schedule to be determined, but plan on Saturdays beginning on February 21, 2015) as well as the production itself.
