Baker Hall, Zoellner Arts Center, Lehigh University.
Think sugarplums and snowflakes as Ballet Guild of the Lehigh Valley presents one of the season's most beloved holiday traditions, The Nutcracker. 2010 will mark the 42nd consecutive year of Ballet Guild Nutcracker productions! Why travel out of town in December? Save time, money, and energy - attend the Lehigh Valley's "first" Nutcracker, bringing acclaimed guest performers from the famed American Ballet Theatre in New York City, as well as noted character dancer, Andrij Cybyk, formerly of Duquesne University's Tamburitzans dance troupe. Joining them on stage will be Pre-Professional Division students from the Ballet Guild school, and selected Community Division students, in addition to 14 volunteer adult dancers. To date, this Nutcracker has been seen by well over 100,000 area school students.
